Starting on the Right Step
It's the first day of New York Fashion Week, and the Big Apple is a ray of sartorial splendor. Whether you're actually visiting Lincoln Center, or checking in online, you're totally caught up in the electricity. Those who are traipsing from show to show (and/or going afterparty-hopping) will definitely want to wear shoes with a comfortable heel height. It's a good thing kitten heels are big for Fall 2010, right? They speak to this season's military and oxford trends. They also have cone heels, which are extremely popular right now. They'll look great with a variety of looks, too.
Toast the fashion capital with a Brandied Apple this evening. A combination of Apple Brandy and Gravenstein Apple LonjeviTea Kombucha (or other apple tea), it's a great way to knock the edge off a hectic day. The brandy is semi-sweet with a strong kick, and the tea's fresh-from-the-orchard flavor captures the feeling of late Summer. Don't drink too many, though. Brandy is pretty strong stuff, and you'll need your energy- regardless of if it's for reading runway coverage online or for running between soirees.
